If the answer is 1234 and you enter 1325
1325 → 1S 2B
1 is the right digit in the right place, a strike. 3 and 2 are in the answer but in other places, so they are balls. 5 is not in the answer. When nothing matches, it is an OUT.

How to play.

Enter a guess
Use the keypad or keyboard to enter distinct digits from 1 to 9, then press Enter. A digit cannot be used twice.

Read the hints
A right digit in the right place is a strike (S). A right digit in the wrong place is a ball (B). Cross out digits in the notes to narrow things down.

Solve within 10 tries
You win when every place is a strike. Daily number results can be shared as an emoji grid that hides the digits.
Frequently asked questions
When does the daily number change?
At midnight Korea time (KST). Everyone gets the same 4-digit number on the same day, so attempt counts compare directly. You get one try per day, and reloading the page continues where you left off.
Is 0 not used?
As in the common Korean version, only distinct digits from 1 to 9 are used. There are 504 possible 3-digit numbers and 3,024 possible 4-digit numbers.
How many tries does it usually take?
With good deduction, 4 digits usually take 5 to 7 tries. Start with two or three guesses that share no digits to learn which digits are in the answer.
Where are my scores saved?
Best scores and your daily progress are saved only in this browser and never sent to a server. Shared results contain only the color grid, never the digits.
