How to play.

Pick a piece
Choose one of the three pieces under the board. Pieces that fit nowhere are dimmed.

Place it
Hover with the mouse to see where it goes, then click to place it. On phones, tap once to preview and tap again to place.

Clear lines
A full row or column clears and scores points. Clearing several lines at once earns a bigger bonus. Place all three pieces to get a new set.
Frequently asked questions
How is scoring done?
Each placed cell is worth 1 point, plus a bonus of 10 times the square of the lines cleared: 10 for one line, 40 for two at once, and 90 for three.
When does the game end?
When none of the remaining pieces fits anywhere on the board. Keeping room for the big pieces is the key to lasting longer.
What is different about the daily game?
On the same day everyone gets the same pieces in the same order, so you can compare scores with friends on equal terms.
Where are my scores saved?
Only your best free-play score and your best daily score for each day are saved in this browser, and they are never sent to a server.
