How to play.

Slide the board
Press an arrow key or WASD, or swipe the board, and every tile slides that way.

Merge matching numbers
When two equal numbers collide they merge into one worth double, and you score the merged value. Each move adds a new 2 or 4 in an empty cell.

Go higher
Reaching 2048 completes the goal, but you can keep playing until the board fills up. The game ends when no move is possible.

Any tips?
Keep your biggest number in one corner, keep that row full, and slide mostly in two directions. The key is never letting the big number get pulled into the middle.
How many times can I undo?
You can undo only your last move. After you move again, that move can be undone in turn.
Is my game lost if I close the window?
No. Your game in progress is saved in this browser automatically, so you can pick it up when you come back.
Where are my scores saved?
Only your best score and the game in progress are saved in this browser, and they are never sent to a server.
