How to play.

Open cells
Tap any cell to start. The first cell and its neighbors never hold a mine, so a wide area opens at once.

Read the numbers
A number tells how many mines touch that cell. Flag cells you are sure about with a right click, a long press, or flag mode.

Open around a number
Press an opened number again once it has that many flags around it, and its other neighbors open together. Open every safe cell to win.
Frequently asked questions
Can the first click hit a mine?
No. Mines are placed after your first click, and the clicked cell and its eight neighbors are left empty.
How do I flag on a phone?
Press and hold a cell for about half a second, or turn on flag mode above the board and tap. Expert is a tall 16×30 board, so it works on a phone with scrolling.
Can I play with a keyboard?
Move with the arrow keys, open with Enter or Space, and flag with the F key.
Do I ever have to guess?
Because mines are placed at random, a rare spot cannot be solved by logic alone. Then weigh the mines left and the odds, and pick the safest cell.
