How to play.

Choose a level
Easy uses the 7 notes C to B, normal adds the sharps for all 12, and hard spreads the 12 notes over three octaves. You only need the note name.

Listen and tap
Press Start to hear a note. Replay it as often as you like, then tap the matching key to see the answer.

Results after ten
A wrong answer plays the correct note once more. After ten questions you can share your score and answer grid.
Frequently asked questions
What is perfect pitch?
The ability to name a pitch by ear without any reference note. It differs from relative pitch, which names notes by comparing them with a known one.
Why are the keys silent?
If the keys made sound, you could compare them and answer by relative pitch. The correct note plays only after you answer.
Can I trust the result?
It is a test for fun and does not diagnose musical ability. Earphones and a quiet room help you hear more clearly.
I hear no sound.
Check silent mode and the volume on your device. Browsers only play sound after you press the start button.
