How to play.

Slide tiles
Tap a tile in the same row or column as the gap to slide it toward the gap. Tiles in between move along, and each tile moved counts as one move.

Put them in order
Arrange 1, 2, 3 and so on from the top left with the gap at the bottom right. Tiles change color once they reach their place.

Use the keyboard
An arrow key pushes the tile next to the gap in that direction, so you can solve quickly without leaving the keys.
Frequently asked questions
Can a layout be impossible?
No. Half of all random 15 puzzle shuffles cannot be solved, but this game only deals layouts that are mathematically solvable.
Any tips?
Finish the top row and left column first, then repeat on the smaller board that remains. The key is to rotate the last two tiles of each row into place together.
When does the daily puzzle change?
At midnight Korea time (KST). Everyone gets the same 4×4 layout on the same day. You can try as often as you like, and your best result is kept.
How are scores ranked?
A shorter time wins, and fewer moves break a tie. Scores are saved only in this browser.
